Shademix is built around a simple principle: nothing you put into the app leaves your device. This page explains what that means concretely.
Nothing. Shademix does not have user accounts, does not include any analytics SDK, does not send tracking or telemetry, and does not contact any server other than the static file host that serves the app's own code and color databases.
Photos you upload or capture for color sampling are processed entirely in the browser or app - never uploaded. Sampled colors, recent history, and saved palettes are stored locally in your device's app storage (browser localStorage on the web, Capacitor Preferences on iOS / Android). Exported files are written to your device's storage when you tap Export.
On iOS and Android, the app requests camera access only when you tap the Camera button, and only for the purpose of letting you sample a color from a live frame. Photos picked from your library are loaded only into the in-memory canvas for sampling and are never copied or transmitted.
The only network requests Shademix makes are to load its own static assets (HTML, JavaScript, color database JSON, icons). When installed as a PWA or native app, these are cached for offline use. There are no calls to advertising networks, tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or backend services.
The Shademix Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not see your payment details, name, or address - Apple / Google handle the transaction. We only receive a signed receipt that confirms whether you've purchased Pro.
None.
Shademix does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated appropriate for all ages.
If we ever do introduce any kind of data collection - even basic analytics - we'll update this page first and require explicit opt-in inside the app.
